Café Laguardia and Café Laguardia West were invited to the Channel 7 News Studio on October 10, 2007 to meet with Theresa Gutierrez, host of "ñ Beat" as well as Sylvia Perez, John Garcia, Stacey Baca, Dan Ponce and other key ABC 7 executives.

Carlos and Stephanie Laguardia, along with Mama Laguardia, attended The Silver Lining Foundation benefit dinner on October 5th. This is a Breast Cancer foundation founded by Sandy Goldberg of Channel 5 news. The Silver Lining Foundation offers free breast screening for women that do not have health insurance and can not afford this type of Exam. Café Laguardia and Café Laguardia West were proud to be part of such a fabulous foundation.
