10.6: Live Cooking Show in Villa PArk!

On Monday, October 6, at 7:00 pm, the Villa Park Public Library will present a cooking demonstration program entitled Cooking with Papi: Cuban Cuisine For Everyone.

Cuban cuisine is becoming increasingly popular across the country, and Villa Park residents Carlos and Jorge (Papi) Laguardia own two Cuban restaurants in Chicago. Papi and Carlos have appeared with Rachel Ray and on several Chicago TV stations. They’ll teach the audience how to make some favorite Cuban dishes. Samples provided! Co-sponsored by Laguardia Cafes of Chicago. Seating will be limited, so be sure to sign up in advance by calling the check-out desk at 834-1164.
